[shoutouts have been editted! sorry for forgetting so many people!] so this is it... my last day in HK... god knows how long ive been waiting for it.. still remember last summer when i foudn out i had to stay here.. omg.. i cried for 2 hours straight.. and was still all soo emotional whenever i thought about it. while if i was given the choice to stay or not and id def. choose not to stay, im still glad i did.. what made nigeria so "special" was that (most of) my best friends were there.. it was my LAST year too... and i couldnt wait to graduate with them... and it sucked that i couldnt say bye to any of them, even tho a few of them did come to the airport that day. it took me quite a long time to adapt... well a few months time.. its hard to just *click* with people of a different culture jus like that... i mean i got stared at last summer.. and i find that this summer, i still get stared at, but it doesnt bother me as much no more.. anyways... no matter what, like i told steven, i am glad that i got to spend a year in HOng Kong.. well maybe NOT my senior year.. but it's alright... there were definitely CONS during this one year period... but the PROS outweighted the CONS by farr... reasons: 1) most important would prolly be the fact that this is the first time that my family has NOT been separated into so many countries in MANY years... it was great to live with my brother again. we've both grown older and get along much better than we used to, which is always a plus cuz he buys me stuff =) haha.. 2) i got new friends that i knw i can trust.. i find myself lucky being able to have friends like that.. and i guess thats why going into Phoenix, instead of any other schools, was a good idea... (even tho NO ONE has heard of phoenix. lol) 3) its' been a good experience... living the chinese lifestyle.. no need to watch cassettes no more.. and having up-to-date movies (even tho nigeria has an AWESOME movie theater.. but it costs too much!) ... and SHOPPING.. haha omg.. its def been a good experience... and hey, how many ppl can say they've been to HK? (westerners! not asians!) anyways... highlights of this whole one year | two months | two days: *camping trip in Tai O - omg, i dun think ill ever go down a 4 storey building with a rope ever again! and the dragonboat racing thingie was cool! =) *book fair meeting that guy! - haha.. my first step towards meeting random ppl in HK! =P *going into phoenix - still remember being shocked on the first day...*sigh* *sai kung hiking trip - haha.. very fun.. very tiring.. and LOTS of pictures! *shirley's wedding - omg, she's so pretty! and mini nigeria reunion thing going on =P
*irei's 18th - first time drinkin in HK! and ended up tipsy and influencing erica~ =P *karen's wedding - haha.. 2nd wedding.. pretty pink dress and pink scarf =) *yvonne's visit to HK - first time clubbing in HK.. first was @ Lux and then @ Ing (when they never checked ID).. lotsa food going on too! =) and first time bowling in AGES! *pui o trip - hahahahahahahahahaha.. KENNETH!! good trip good trip! =) 1 Bottle of Skye + another bottle from 7-11.. Steven was hilarious! i love u guys! and erica was crazier than me.. "eat bread!" *club ing on june 2nd - omg omg omg. we got carded at bulldogs n apparently ms mark n ms chima saw us. and then we went to a very pathetic bar... and then we hit Ing.. VERY good nite there.. i love the pictures! =) *wink wink* i still have a reminder from that nite on my arm! =P but its all good! and it was the first time we barfed. LOL =P *prom 2oo5 - haha.. we actually pulled it off.. it was all good.. i loved the slideshow.. =) thanks, irei! =)
*prom after party - boo* got BOUNCED for the first time ever. how dumb! stupid EDGE.. bumped into some ppl too. .haha =) worst clubbing nite ever tho! haha =P *clubbing - im jus basically gonna group this into one.. 10 weeks of clubbing (including after party)... 13 nites of going out and getting tipsy.. lol.. ohh myy... still remember clubbing on ladies nite and going back to work the next day.. haha.. good times good times... met alotta new people... at ing and at nu.. going into the boys room.. haha.. lotsa drunk pics.. lots and lots of lying to our parents. going home at sunrise. ing, edge, nu, redrock, illy, fong, dip.. *sai kung beach weekend - it was two nites of partying + two days of beach for me. omg so tiring. will never forget that weekend... blah* so embarrassing too.. with THREE huge BRUISES.. ohh myy... sorry kenneth, kaicho, and everyone else who i shouted at.. lol.. but thanks, too =) *day trips before erica left - omg, we went out so much! so so so so so much.. but it was all good... great fun.. beats staying at home all day.. hehe =) and the shopping and hte food! the skirts and tops from mango.. haha.. =) *working at YALC - met trisha, sarah, and sara.. omg, it was such good fun working with them... and the children.. they were lovely. i think im in love with calvin! he's soo adorable! XD soo bright also =) and sarah was sooooooo sweet.. omg the plane packet! i will definitely put it to good use! =D *cheungchau trip - we actually went drinking in there.. but hte place was scary... but yea... drinking is soo cheap! we shud go have a vacay there next summer.. =) there are many more.. but i can only think of these...* and now its time foh the shoutouts... erica - babe, i dont think anyone here in hk is as crazie as u.. and when me and u are together, we're unstoppable..!!! its craziee... =D but u kno they all love us =) hehe.. anyways... one of the best things about comin to HK and Phoenix was meetin you.. without u, nicole, steven and nohman, iono how i'd have survived here!! u kno what i mean!! anyways.. this summer we had a blast but it was cut short.. but dont worry.. next summer... HK BETTA BEWARE! =D we'll be paintin the town red in no time.. dont forget ur coming in Dec!! lub always =D nicole - hiiiiiii nickieeeee! =D iono what to say.. ur smart and slow at the same time! but having u around is such a blast! even if u dont get what we're talking about at times! =P but yea... when i think of u, ill remember our PAs during econ class!! =P and napping! lol.. omg* and the food* haha.. poor mr. meikle.. we werent good students were we.. oops =P anyways.. u take care in HKU!! and if u ever need any form of entertainment, u kno where to find me!
